You Only Turn 40 Once!

After doing multiple kids’ parties and corporate events for this client it was time to change gears and plan a celebration for the “man of the family”.  His wife knew she wanted it to be all about PARTY and we hit the ground running.  Hyde Kitchen + Bar Hallandale was the perfect location and we kept the crowd on their toes throughout the night with continuous entertainment and incredible sounds by Michael Sarysz.  He truly never disappoints.

You might only turn 40 once but these pictures by Jessica Kassin will always keep the memories alive.

This Happy Couple Chose Wynwood As Their Backdrop

I loved everything about this wedding!  To start off Marissa and Matt are one of a kind. They had a vision, they wanted different and they weren’t afraid of color. Sometimes when you choose “out of the box” there are challenges. When you have an incredible team in place you can get through anything even with a 3am install start.  So many thank yous go out to everyone involved in this spectacular wedding ceremony and festivities!

Vanessa & Andrew Light Up the Biltmore

When clients become friends it is a special connection and Vanessa fits that bill.  Both families were so much fun to be around for this special destination wedding at the gorgeous Biltmore Hotel.  This couple truly lit up the night from start to finish and utilized many different venue spaces throughout the event to keep everyone moving and entertained.  From an outdoor ceremony overlooking the golf course to a patio cocktail hour to dinner and dancing in the Granada Ballroom and an after party in Danielson an amazing time was had by all.

See for yourself with these amazing photos by Maloman Studios.

Sweet Sadie at The Shane Center

New York friends are the best friends and that is how I got to be involved in this amazing event!  SWEET is the perfect word to describe this Bat Mitzvah girl and her entire family!  I had so much fun working with Mom PJ and helping her to create the perfect night for Sadie, her friends and family.

The Shane Center provided the backdrop to create the perfect night with a room filled of pink and turquoise.  Sadie’s grand entrance was one of a kind with a choreographed dance that set the tone for the night.   Triple P Entertainment provided ongoing music and kept everyone on the dance floor. Executive Caterers kept the food flowing all night with a signature dessert of custom chocolate bars.

A huge thank you to KOP Photography for capturing the details, the fun and all the energy!  sadie-7sadie-11-2sadie-17sadie-19sadie-20-2sadie-21sadie-24sadie-25sadie-27sadie-27-2sadie-36sadie-46sadie-107sadie-195sadie-201sadie-226sadie-239sadie-247sadie-270sadie-272sadie-295sadie-535

Valerie + Richard @ Villa Woodbine

A rainy day at Villa Woodbine didn’t dampen the spirits of this fun-lovin couple.  Every interaction throughout the planning process involved so many laughs and it is not often that a groom is so involved in the process.  It was AWESOME!

Stacey Ambrosio captured every detail from getting ready at the Mayfair Hotel till the end of the night shenanigans at Villa Woodbine.  Michelle and the Bill Hansen team at the Villa were on point from start to finish. Bitton Events kept everyone entertained. Art of Hair by Claudia and Deco Drive Limos helped get everyone ready and to the Villa for the main event.  Blooming Flowers of Key Biscayne enhanced the beautiful venue with flowers to match the bride’s and groom’s taste.  To represent the Libutti Italian tradition, each guest left with olive oil as a parting gift.

With a hashtag of #shakeyourlibutti you know a good time was had by all!

A Baby Naming with Purple Passion

A baby naming is a very special time for a Jewish baby girl and her family.  This baby naming was for a family I have had the honor of working with on numerous events.  It is always so much fun planning their events and I love when I have the opportunity to add design work in too.

The vision started with the color purple and you can see below how beautiful it all turned out.  One of my favorite aspects was physically making the paper flower wall which was the backdrop for the baby naming ceremony and family pictures.

Thank you Jessica Kassin Photography for the amazing shots!

The Wynwood Coloring Book – Join the Revolution!

I LOVE coloring!  The Wynwood Coloring Book allows a person to “discover their inner artist”.  This was a very fast tracked project that I have been able to be a part of.  All the people I have met, the knowledge I’ve gained and the experiences just keep flowing. The book has now been out for about a month and the feedback has been incredible.  As a team- the creator of the book, Diego Orlandini, partners like HGAB Magazine, the talented & passionate street artists and the entire Wynwood community are all instrumental in making this project spread nationally and globally.   Wynwood is a melting pot for creatives and this coloring book is a catalyst in becoming an ambassador for the artists and Wynwood.  This book represents community, street art, the artists and their works.  The murals around Wynwood are constantly changing and this coloring book serves as a way to keep the works alive and to have you connect directly to the artists themselves through the full color directory in the back of the book.

The community certainly came together for the Release Party on April 7th that I had the honor of producing.  A huge shout out to The Wynwood Yard and Mortal & Pistil for hosting the event. Thank you to Event Nerds for providing the sound and DJ and special performances by Patbag John & the HOD and Nostalgic Minds.  Simple Selfie kept people entertained along with our large canvases guests had the opportunity to paint.  A huge thank you to Masson Liang for capturing all the details and good times.

Enjoy these pictures and checkout where you can purchase the book.

Styled Shoot at the Spanish Monastery

Part 2 of the styled shoot with celebrity photographer, Robert Evans.  From Wynwood to the Spanish Monastery – from edginess and fun to tranquility and rustic elegance.  Many good times and amazing memories with designing and producing these two shoots together.

Blooming Flowers Key Biscayne, Unearthed Vintage, Atlas Party Rental, Savvylicious Sweets,  Millenium Limo and South Beach Makeup Studio  helped bring my vision to life.

Diplomat Country Club with Romina and Moshe

When you get that phone call from someone you grew up with to help coordinate his wedding your heart flutters with excitement. That’s how I felt when I got the phone call from Moshe and got to meet his fiancee, Romina.  One of the best parts was seeing so many familiar faces at the wedding.

Diplomat Country Club staff was amazing and so much fun to work with. Kosher catering with Executive Caterers did not disappoint topped with a cake by Gallery of Cakes.  Tony O Events made the bride’s vision come to life and despite the rain and moving the ceremony indoors it was was still a magical site.  Amram Adar helped create that magic with his amazing voice throughout the ceremony.  Becca and Kevin Borge covered photography and videography without skipping a beat.  The Music Machine kept everyone on the dance floor all night with the help of Vallenato.

Wishing a lifetime of happiness to these two!

Wynwood Fun Styled Shoot

Doing a styled shoot is always so much fun especially when you have an amazing team to work with.  Robert Evans, celebrity photographer, came to Miami for two different shoots and I had the honor of designing and producing them.

Enjoy part one showcasing the Wynwood Art District in Miami.  The murals in Wynwood are constantly changing and they become the canvases for amazing street artists from around the world.

Stay on the look out for part 2 showcasing the beautiful Spanish Monastery.

Thank you Lindsey, Will, Alexis and Kholeen for being part of this project!
