I decided there was no possible way I could articulate the night as well as Mary Marantz of the Fabulous duo Justin and Mary….check out below and let the jaws drop…
he stood with her head bowed low, as the light poured in the glass panes of the hotel windows like the old lights of Hollywood. It picked her. Chose her. Wrapped in around her and singled her out. And made everything else fall away. She took a deep breath, and then another. As she prepared to step out on this stage. And whatever happened next, one thing was already certain. This night, their night, was shining like diamonds. It glittered in the evening sky. And when it was time for her entrance, even the stars themselves went pale in comparison.
He stood with his head bowed low, as the light poured in the stained glass windows of the cathedral and lit up the entire night like the silver screen. Even from the front he could see…it picked her. Chose her. Skipped over everyone else in the room and singled her out. And made everything else fall away. Later that night he would take a deep breath, and then another. As he prepared to step out on the stage and play a song he had written just for her. And whatever happened next, one thing was already certain. On this night, their night, she was shining like diamonds. She glittered in the evening sky. And he already knew that from now and for the next fifty years, anytime he looked at her….
Even the stars themselves would pale in comparison.
Married: Laura & Christopher
Laura & Christopher were married in Miami on a night even Bogart & Bacall themselves would be proud of. Everything about the day glittered. Everywhere she went, Laura lit up the room. And in his classic black bow tie, Christopher made for an excellent leading man. When hora loca rolled around and the room filled with stilt walkers, aerialists and show girls….I still found myself having to pick my jaw up off the ground. Laura & Christopher, thank you so much for having us there with you…we will never forget it! My hope is that you love like this always: larger than life and with a love that puts the stars to shame.
