This Happy Couple Chose Wynwood As Their Backdrop

I loved everything about this wedding!  To start off Marissa and Matt are one of a kind. They had a vision, they wanted different and they weren’t afraid of color. Sometimes when you choose “out of the box” there are challenges. When you have an incredible team in place you can get through anything even with a 3am install start.  So many thank yous go out to everyone involved in this spectacular wedding ceremony and festivities!

Vanessa & Andrew Light Up the Biltmore

When clients become friends it is a special connection and Vanessa fits that bill.  Both families were so much fun to be around for this special destination wedding at the gorgeous Biltmore Hotel.  This couple truly lit up the night from start to finish and utilized many different venue spaces throughout the event to keep everyone moving and entertained.  From an outdoor ceremony overlooking the golf course to a patio cocktail hour to dinner and dancing in the Granada Ballroom and an after party in Danielson an amazing time was had by all.

Valerie + Richard @ Villa Woodbine

A rainy day at Villa Woodbine didn’t dampen the spirits of this fun-lovin couple.  Every interaction throughout the planning process involved so many laughs and it is not often that a groom is so involved in the process.  It was AWESOME!

Stacey Ambrosio captured every detail from getting ready at the Mayfair Hotel till the end of the night shenanigans at Villa Woodbine.  Michelle and the Bill Hansen team at the Villa were on point from start to finish. Bitton Events kept everyone entertained. Art of Hair by Claudia and Deco Drive Limos helped get everyone ready and to the Villa for the main event.  Blooming Flowers of Key Biscayne enhanced the beautiful venue with flowers to match the bride’s and groom’s taste.  To represent the Libutti Italian tradition, each guest left with olive oil as a parting gift.

With a hashtag of #shakeyourlibutti you know a good time was had by all!

Celebrating February Love with Brittany & Ross

Happy 2nd Anniversary Brittany and Ross!  Flashback Friday is in full force here with this amazing couple and unbelievable wedding!  The second daughter of this incredible family getting married required the family’s Golden Beach oceanfront abode to be transformed into a magical, breathtaking venue for this couple to walk down the aisle and for so many family members and friends to party the night away.

It was such an honor coordinating this event with many of the top vendors in this industry.  It was a multiple day install with long hours but everyone did a fabulous job.  Always a thank you to the entire team!

Jessica + Robert’s Persian Wedding @ the Eden Roc

Next month will be Jessica and Robert’s one year anniversary and in anticipated celebration I wanted to share with you their wedding highlights.  This couple lives in Los Angeles and decided on a Miami destination wedding.  Don’t let anyone tell you that a daytime wedding can’t be a lot of fun.  Just looking at the pictures below you will see the smiles and enjoyment had by all.  The weather didn’t fully cooperate and the ceremony had to be moved inside but it was still just as beautiful and intimate.  We incorporated their Jewish Persian heritage throughout – from music to the petal throwing tradition.  Thank you to all the vendors and guests that made this such a fantastic memorable experience for the amazing couple!

Enjoy these photos from Magdalena Photography!

Dolly and Adam Were All About That…….

Dolly and Adam were all about a lot of things but food and wine were a number one priority!  This was a kosher wedding that incorporated into both their cocktail hour and four course dinner grass fed beef, free range chicken and wild fish.  Wine was flown in from Hagafen Cellars in Napa, California.

You will also see, from the amazing moments captured by Emily Harris Photography, that there was no shortage of entertainment and fun had by all the guests present.

Dolly and Adam’s dogs play a huge role in their lives – they couldn’t be at the wedding so they had a photo shoot at a local park a few days later.

Huge shout out to all the vendors and staff that worked on this awesome wedding.

Shira and Yoni = HITCHED @ the Eden Roc

It is always nice to reunite with someone from your past and working with Shira was exactly that.  Although Shira and Yoni now live in Chicago, coming to South Florida, where Shira grew up, is where their celebration would take place.  Their wedding was full of top notch vendors.  The Eden Roc has many different areas for events to take place but there was no doubt that Shira and Yoni wanted to go with the old world charm of using both the Mona Lisa and Pompeii spaces with their ceremony taking place outdoors.  Sit back and scroll through the moments that Jeff Kolodny captured of this special day.

French Elegance Direct from Paris at Vizcaya

We put together this wedding in about 2 months while me in Miami and the bride in Paris.  Halfway through the process I finally got to “meet” the bride and groom via skype and finally met the groom in person on his wedding day.  This pair has a true love story and everyone was reminded of it throughout the event.  They wanted all their guests to feel comfortable and constantly be entertained.  Guests came from all over the world to watch ALF and JMJ walk down the aisle.

Glamour and Fun at Vizcaya with Asta & Joe

I will never forget meeting Asta and Joe for the first time at the Setai.  Their dynamics at that meeting let me know that if I was chosen to plan their spectacular event, it would be an awesome ride full of personality……and that it was!

Asta had a vision and we worked with a great group of vendors to bring it to life.  Lots of customization, details and most importantly to them, making sure their friends had an amazing time. It was a destination wedding for most and South Beach was the place to be.  Guests arrived and received gift bags filled with the general goodies but we wanted to make sure everyone also had some “fun in the sun” – beach bags, coconut cups, coconut water, rum, sarongs for the ladies and straw fedoras for the gentlemen, custom shot glasses, sunscreen and more.

Vizcaya was the place to showcase the union of this duo.  Breathtaking views for a breathtaking couple with no detail left untouched.  A custom door made in Alabama (coincidentally where Asta grew up) to hold family pictures, cocktail napkins with sayings, custom props in the photo booth, “cigarette” girls and guys handing out everything from mints, to custom sunglasses and test tube shots.

There was no shortage of spectacular entertainment – Libido got everyone on the dance floor throughout the night and then DJ Blaze took over with the incredible electric violinist brought in from New York, Sarah Charness.

The images for this one speak for themselves.  Thank you PS Photography!

Alyssa and Jeff Come Home

Working with Alyssa and her family on planning her wedding day was amazing.  It is always nice when it feels like “coming home”.  Mine and Alyssa’s family have known each other forever and the month before her wedding I had the honor of doing her cousin Mara’s wedding.

There were a lot of things to think about when we started the planning process…..mainly, we had to find a date that wasn’t going to coincide with any big sporting event.  We succeeded and a beautiful wedding was planned at the Coral Gables Country Club.  Of course we made sure that Alyssa and Jeff’s personalities rang through so when they wanted to surprise everyone with their grand entrance introduction being made by the announcer of the Miami Heat my lips were sealed.

Alyssa and Jeff both grew up in South Florida but have spent years in Atlanta.  Their families are large and friends plentiful – boy do they know how to party!  Everyone was on the dance floor all night celebrating this incredible couple.

Thank you Heather Funk Photography for the images.
