You Only Turn 40 Once!

After doing multiple kids’ parties and corporate events for this client it was time to change gears and plan a celebration for the “man of the family”.  His wife knew she wanted it to be all about PARTY and we hit the ground running.  Hyde Kitchen + Bar Hallandale was the perfect location and we kept the crowd on their toes throughout the night with continuous entertainment and incredible sounds by Michael Sarysz.  He truly never disappoints.

You might only turn 40 once but these pictures by Jessica Kassin will always keep the memories alive.

A Baby Naming with Purple Passion

A baby naming is a very special time for a Jewish baby girl and her family.  This baby naming was for a family I have had the honor of working with on numerous events.  It is always so much fun planning their events and I love when I have the opportunity to add design work in too.

The vision started with the color purple and you can see below how beautiful it all turned out.  One of my favorite aspects was physically making the paper flower wall which was the backdrop for the baby naming ceremony and family pictures.

Thank you Jessica Kassin Photography for the amazing shots!

A Small Town Rehearsal Dinner in Miami

For a groom who LOVES a small town band, rustic decor, BBQ and University of Miami his family did not disappoint with pulling off a rehearsal dinner that says WOW!   A special thank you to Katie of Unearthed Vintage for pulling me in towards the end to help make sure it went off without a hitch.  This family was a blast and it was great working with my old friend, Jessica Kassin, as photographer.

The event took place at the Barnacle Historic State Park in Coconut Grove.  This is truly a hidden gem.  People that live in the neighborhood admitted they didn’t even know it existed.  It was the perfect venue and we had the perfect weather for this awesome night.

The best was the reaction of the guests and especially the groom when Sebastian the Ibis, the University of Miami’s mascot showed up for a guest appearance.
