A Baby Naming with Purple Passion

A baby naming is a very special time for a Jewish baby girl and her family.  This baby naming was for a family I have had the honor of working with on numerous events.  It is always so much fun planning their events and I love when I have the opportunity to add design work in too.

The vision started with the color purple and you can see below how beautiful it all turned out.  One of my favorite aspects was physically making the paper flower wall which was the backdrop for the baby naming ceremony and family pictures.

Thank you Jessica Kassin Photography for the amazing shots!

Turning 1 at Cece’s Cabbage Patch

Francesca Rose also known as Cece turned 1 surrounded by family and friends.  The celebration was two-fold, a ceremony to receive her Hebrew name followed by a party packed with an amazing photo wall, a dj with entertainers, glitter tattoos, ball pits, bounce houses, delicious food and unbelievable desserts that tasted as good as they looked.

Emily Harris Photography does it again capturing the details and all the fun!

An Afternoon of Bridal Luxury

A few months ago I had the honor of participating in An Afternoon of Bridal Luxury at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach with Modern Luxury Brides Magazine.  Each company was given the opportunity to come up with a theme and design a vignette.  I chose the theme “Painted Love” and used watercolors to bring out the concept.  I had the most amazing vendors help me create a gorgeous vignette depicting this theme.  A HUGE THANK YOU to Petal Productions, Nuage Designs, Atals Party Rental and Luxe Event Rentals.  Thank you for bringing my vision to life!

A Biltmore Beauty with Nicole and Rob

I’ve been busy trying to catch up on blogging with six weddings that took place in January.  Here is another winner!

I always love working at amazing and beautiful venues – The Biltmore in Coral Gables never disappoints!  The property is gorgeous and the staff is stellar.  Nicole and Rob chose amazing vendors to work with to help make their dreams of their special day come true.  Petal Productions created stunning arrangements in all areas allowing Ambrosio Photography and Senderey Videography to capture the true elegance of the day and the couple.  The music was phenomenal starting at the ceremony and cocktail hour with AA Musicians which led to a reception that Heatwave blew out of the park. The dance floor was packed all night.

Sherita and Brent at One Bal Harbour

From my first meeting with Sherita and her mom I knew working with this duo was going to include nonstop laughter.  These two amazing women have such a special bond.  Whether via phone, email, trips to Miami or meeting in New York, the laughter never disappointed.  I miss the phone calls that started with, “I was watching this wedding show on TV……”

Sherita had a vision and her “do it yourself” projects came out great.  I give her lots of credit for all the time and energy she put into her special day.

Although we had to move the ceremony indoors due to rain it did not dampen the mood and we returned outside for the cocktail hour and a fire dancer performance.

This event included a-list vendors who also laughed plenty with Sherita, Brent and their families.

Thank you Emily Harris for all the amazing photographs!

Sherita and Brent – A Night to Remember

Sherita and Brent really showed their guests a great time. Despite the rain and the need to move the ceremony indoors, everyone was moved by the heartfelt ceremony. TM Entertainment captured that and more in this video. Pictures will be posted soon.

Enjoy!
